We can’t speak for deer, but an antelope is certainly playing in Nashville.
ABC affiliate WKRN reports that an antelope has been spotted running around the Joelton neighborhood of the Tennessee capital.
The origins of the animal are unknown, but according to resident Gigi de Lugo, it’s been spotted in various backyards, farms, roadways and wooded areas around town.
“It just seems that whenever we have a lot going on in the world, some exotic animal is loose around Nashville, and a great distraction and adorable,” de Lugo says. “We’re hoping he…can get caught, so that he doesn’t hurt or cause anything as far as a car accident as well.”
Perhaps Music City will honor the occasion with performances of “Home on the Range.”
