The Dalles, Oregon – As work begins on the First Street Streetscaping Project, a portion of the First Street parking lot located north of the Tony’s Lot and east of the Transportation Building is closed. The area will be used as a laydown yard for materials and equipment supporting the project.
The closure is expected to remain in place through May 2027.
Public parking areas located west of the Transportation Building remain open and available for use at this time.
The City appreciates the community’s patience as this downtown improvement project moves forward.
