Rep. Gloria Mendoza wants to know how recent policies and tax increases from legislative majority Democrats in Olympia are affecting citizens across the 14th District. Mendoza, R-Grandview, is seeking input through an online survey she recently posted on her website.
“After visiting local communities, meeting with citizens, touring local businesses and agricultural operations, and speaking with area leaders, one concern has consistently risen to the forefront: Washington has become too expensive. With costs continuing to rise, many families, workers and small businesses are struggling to make ends meet,” said Mendoza. “As the Legislature prepares for a new 60-day session, beginning January 12, I want to better understand the challenges my constituents are facing. That’s why I have launched this online survey.”
The survey, which is provided in both English and Spanish, invites citizens to share their experiences and perspectives on the cost of living, housing, taxes, and other financial pressures. To access the survey, go to Mendoza’s website: gloriamendoza.houserepublicans.wa.gov. Look for a link that says “Take my online Affordability Survey.”
“I want to hear from citizens across central Washington. Their input will help guide my work and representation for the upcoming session,” Mendoza added.
