Grandma may have gotten run over by a reindeer, but this deer fell into a pool.
ABC affiliate WHAS reports that the hapless animal stumbled through the safety netting covering a 14-foot-deep pool at Holiday World, a park in the seasonally named town of Santa Claus, Indiana.
A vet was brought in to sedate the deer, and it was successfully removed from its predicament and released in a different area of the park.
Did grandma cut the netting as an act of revenge against all deer? We may never know.
