Washington routs UCLA 48-14 behind 4 TDs by Demond Williams Jr.

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Demond Williams Jr. scored on two quarterback keepers and threw for two touchdowns, leading Washington to a 48-14 rout of UCLA. The Huskies improved to 8-3 and 5-3 in the Big Ten with their second straight win. Alex McLaughlin returned a fumble for a 59-yard touchdown for the Huskies. UCLA lost its fourth game in a row, tying its season-worst skid. UCLA quarterback Nico Iamaleava returned from a concussion but got hurt in the third quarter. Washington is in line for a bowl game, while UCLA is searching for a new head coach with one game remaining in its season.

Knight scores on 58-yard run as No. 21 James Madison rallies to beat Washington State 24-20

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — Wayne Knight’s 58-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter put No. 21 James Madison ahead to stay and the Dukes beat Washington State 24-20. Knight carried 15 times for 126 yards and Alonza Barnett was 9 for 18 passing for 144 yards and a touchdown for James Madison (10-1). Zevi Eckhaus completed 19 of 31 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score to lead Washington State (5-6). Kirby Vorhees rushed for 61 yards on 19 carries.
