Crestline Construction has been contracted by The City of The Dalles to provide sanitary, storm, sidewalk, and roadway reconstruction on W 6th Street between Hostetler Way W and to the South of the Snipes Intersection.
On November 17- 21, 2025, paving on W 6th St. is scheduled as weather allows. All northbound traffic on W 6th St. will detour at Snipes St. around the work area. Southbound traffic will travel through a single lane on W 6th St between Snipes St. and Chenowith Loop Rd.
The traffic control plan outlining the closure and alternate routes around the closure is on pages 3 and 4 of the construction info sheet here www.thedalles.org/construction.
Crestline Construction recommends motorists use alternate routes, obey site traffic control and be aware of the increased construction equipment and activity throughout the duration of the project.
