As expected, the Washington State Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council approved the massive Carriger Solar Energy Facility and battery energy storage system at their meeting this morning:
“The ayes carried the motion and the EFSEC Council for Carriger has adopted the motion to approve Council Resolution #360 and the draft site certification agreement as amended for transmittal to the governor for the Carriger Solar project.”
There was one nay vote, that from the Department of Natural Resources member of EFSEC, the aptly named Maverick Ryan.
