Action: Imposes night closure for salmon through Oct. 31. Closes all salmon fishing beginning Nov. 1.
Location: Yakima River from the downstream side of the westbound Interstate 82 Bridge in Prosser to the Grant Avenue Bridge in Prosser.
Species affected: Salmon.
Specific dates and salmon rules:
- Immediately-Oct. 31: Minimum size is 12 inches. Daily limit is six including no more than two adult fish. Release all salmon other than Chinook and coho. Night closure.
- Nov. 1-15: Closed.
Reason for action: This rule is needed to adhere to salmon seasons and rules established during the 2025-26 North of Falcon fishing season setting process.
