On May 2nd, 2025 an Officer with HRPD stopped an unregistered vehicle because apparently the owner didn’t get the memo on the expired vehicle registration. During the stop, the officer noticed the passenger trying to discreetly hide stuff, because that’s not suspicious at all.
A search of the specific area where the passenger was observed hiding items yielded 548 grams (1.2lbs) of Methamphetamine, which is just a fancy way of saying a whole bunch of meth. Also located was a digital scale, because when you’re dealing with that much meth, you gotta be precise. Both the passenger and driver were taken into custody for their bad choices. This is our 2nd interdiction of a larger quantity of Meth in the past few days. We remain committed to keeping these illicit substances out of our community.
