King County: At approximately 7:40pm, December 29, 2024, Washington State Patrol (WSP)
communications received a 9-1-1 call from a victim reporting they were shot at on I-405.
The victim advised they were not injured but their vehicle sustained damage to the left rear door and
window. They were driving a BMW X1 shown in the picture below.
Troopers contacted the victim, observed the damage, and interviewed the victim. They stated they
were traveling northbound I-405 approaching SR 169 as they passed the suspect vehicle. The
suspect vehicle sped up and as they came alongside fired several rounds at the victim vehicle.
The suspect vehicle was described as a silver Ford Crown Victoria. The suspect was described at a
white male in their 20s with shaggy hair wearing a black hoodie.
The vehicle continued north on I405.
WSP detectives are seeking anyone that has information on this shooting or may have seen the
