Something nasty-wasty is stealing Christmas decorations from a Florida neighborhood, and it definitely wasn’t a skunk.
According to NBC 2, Collier County resident Shanick Suarez was surprised to learn that the inflatable Grinch that vanished from her porch was actually stolen by a bear.
When the Grinch first went missing on Black Friday, it was found by a neighbor two doors down, and Suarez thought she might’ve been pranked. Upon returning it to its rightful home days later, the real culprit returned and, this time, was caught on camera.
“I never expected it to be a bear!” Suarez says. “I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I literally, like, text my husband. I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ We were texting back and forth, just rewatching the video, sending it to all of our family and friends at five in the morning.”
A second go-round with the bear proved to be too much for the Grinch, who, in addition to having a heart that was three sizes too small, was now ripped up by sharp claws and teeth.
Still, if given the choice between the two of them, we’d probably take the Grinch-stealing bear over a seasick crocodile.
