Fans trying to make their way home following Olivia Rodrigo‘s concert in Melbourne, Australia, may not have been happy with the extensive flooding that shut down a pair of train stations, causing lengthy delays, but they got a good laugh when they found out the cause.
Minister for Transport Infrastructure Danny Pearson told reporters at a press briefing that what was originally believed to be an act of vandalism was in reality caused by “an amorous couple in a stairwell that dislodged the sprinkler,” according to 7NEWS Australia.
The damage caused “extensive flooding to several platforms, which resulted in an automated evacuation of both Melbourne Central and Flagstaff Railway stations,” per Victoria Police.
The randy couple were caught on surveillance video, and police are trying to track them down.
