As your Sheriff in Klickitat County, I would like to invite you to attend the upcoming town hall meetings.
Sheriff Bob Songer will be holding a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 6:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Klickitat County Pioneer Center located at 501 NE Washington Street, White Salmon, Washington.
Sheriff Bob Songer will also be holding another Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Goldendale Grange located at 228 East Darland in Goldendale, Washington.
We will be discussing the role of the County Sheriff along with the pro’s and con’s of the County Commissioners Lori Zoller and Jacob Anderson taking over the jail from the Sheriff. We will also be discussing possible budget cuts to the Sheriff’s Office that would affect the safety of the deputies and citizens of our county.
In my Town Hall meetings, the citizens attending will be allowed to verbally ask questions and make comments without them being screened by a moderator.
