Move over, Hamburglar, the Hash Brown Heister’s in town

It seems a Los Angeles McDonald’s is dealing with a new Hamburglar, only this one is more interested in hash browns.

Rashun Shawwall Aljuwani, 35, of Canyon Country, is accused of ordering two hash browns at the McDonald’s drive-thru and stealing another at gunpoint.

After arguing with an employee at the pick-up window, Aljuwani allegedly pulled out “a firearm from the vehicle” and pointed it at the victim’s chest; the employee then handed over the hash brown, according to The Signal.

Police were able to track down the suspect, who was then positively identified in a lineup. The weapon, a black Glock 19-style compressed-air-fired pistol, was also recovered.

Aljuwani is facing two to five years in prison for using the gun.
