They have the meat: Arby’s employees charged in roast beef heist

Two Arby’s employees are facing charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of roast beef from the restaurant chain’s Williamsport, Pennsylvania, location.

Shaniyah Alyia West, 21, and Stephanie Davis, 63, were caught after the Arby’s owner, Linda Rae, noticed a discrepancy in the roast beef log sheets over previous months, according to Northcentral PA.com.

That’s when she noticed the two women slicing beef and putting it in the garbage, where they would retrieve it at the end of their shifts.

In total, investigators says West and Davis made off with $2,800 worth of roast beef, along with 143 drinks, 16 food items and 49 “other” things.

West and Davis are each charged with felony theft and conspiracy to commit theft.
