We’ve got a correction to make regarding the comments on the Wasco County Landfill. Earlier this week it was stated that Wasco County and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality were seeking public comment.
That was incorrect. Wasco County is not involved in the comment seeking process. The Oregon DEQ is still seeking comments until 5pm today.
Citizens must submit written comments, by mail or email, by 5pm today, either for or against extending the permit making the Wasco County Landfill a regional garbage dump. Contact information below.
