The City of The Dalles is gearing up to elect three new City Councilors. For candidates intending to run for city council in the upcoming November 5, General Election, packets are now available online and in the City Clerkâs office. To qualify, candidates must be registered voters residing within the City limits for at least 12 months preceding their election, no candidate may run for more than one City office in a single election.
The filing period begins tomorrow June 5, and ends on August 27.

The City is also looking to hire a new code enforcement officer, a water quality manager, a wastewater collection certified operator, a senior planner, and an entry level or lateral transfer police officer.
