On Monday, April 22, 2024, North Central Public Health District (NCPHD) and the Sherman County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) are teaming up to celebrate Earth Day by giving out free flower seed packets. All are welcome to join the celebration at NCPHD’s booth at the Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) spring resource fair at the CGCC Amphitheater, 400 E. Scenic Dr., The Dalles, OR, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or at Sherman County SWCD located at 2004 First St., Moro, OR, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Staff will be handing out seed packets and information while supplies last.
