Planned Power Outage – Klickitat, Darland, Goldendale, Wishram, Goodnoe and Cleveland Substations 03/29/2024 10PM-Midnight
Klickitat PUD will have planned a power outage on Friday, March 29th beginning at 10:00PM until midnight.
This outage will be for BPA to perform critical transmission line switch maintenance impacting the KPUD Klickitat, Darland, Goldendale, Wishram, Goodnoe and Cleveland substations. This will affect all customers in the following areas:
Klickitat: all customers in town, along Hwy 142 from milepost 8 through 19.5, Incline Rd, Fish On Rd, Skookum Flat Rd, Wahkiacus Heights Rd, Homeacres Ranch Rd, Tall Fir Rd, Skookum Flat Rd. and Long Rd.
Darland: all customers along Hwy 142 from Milepost 5 to 33 and the Glenwood Hwy from milepost 17 to 23. This also includes the areas of Blockhouse, Turkey Ranch Rd, Monument, Garrison Rd, Thompson Rd. and Cedar Valley.
Goldendale: all customers in the towns of Goldendale and Centerville, including Centerville Hwy from milepost 1 to 12, Horseshoe Bend Rd, Harms Rd, Satus Pass, Box Canyon, Woodland Rd, Hoctor Rd and Bickleton Hwy areas.
Wishram: all customers in Wishram, Hwy 14 from milepost 87 to milepost 100, including the west half of Maryhill as well as Maryhill
State Park.
Goodnoe: all customers on Hoctor Rd, Old Mountain Rd, Fenton Ln, Cowboy Trail, Chambers Rd, Badger Gulch Rd, Three Spurs Loop, Log Cabin, Ownby Rd, Vosberg Ln, Old Mountain Rd, Bickleton Hwy and surrounding areas.
Cleveland: all customers in town of Bickleton, Bickleton Hwy, Cemetery Rd, Middle Rd, Ferguson Rd, Naught Rd, Schrantz Rd, Dot Rd, Sand Ridge Rd, East Rd, Glade Rd, County Line Rd, Crider Valley Rd, Hooker Rd and surrounding areas.
The times stated above for this planned outage are based on the best information we have available ahead of time, so please be aware that the power could come back on at any time without prior notice. We understand there is never a perfect time for the power to be out, but by performing these routine outages with some advance planning, our system can be better prepared to handle weather extremes and other variables at times when you count on electricity most.
