“TDPD is committed to the safety of our city as well as transparency of operations. This traffic safety mission was in response to concerns relayed to us by our community. We remain determined to provide safe streets and a livable community.
Traffic Emphasis Mission Results:
On Friday March 15th TDPD conducted six hours of focused traffic emphasis patrols which resulted in:
- 104 Traffic Stops
- 60 Citations Issued
- 44 Warnings
- One DUII Arrest
Multiple Citations were for Failing to wear a safety belt, driving uninsured, driving with a suspended drivers license and other hazardous violations such as speeding and disobeying a traffic control device.
