Oklahoma woman just turned 100, but she’s really only 25

They say age is just a number, and that’s especially true for those of us born on during a leap year.

One of them, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, native Mary Forsythe, celebrated her 100th birthday on February 29, so she’s not lying if she only admits to being 25.

Mary’s Leap Day birthday celebration began earlier this month, with her whole town taking part, according to KOCO-TV.

Per History.com, only about 5 million people worldwide — “Leaplings,” as they’re called — have a Leap Day birthday. The odds of being born on Leap Day are currently about 1 in 1,461.
