Arlington, Texas, police became temporary goat herders recently when nearly 60 goats escaped their enclosure in a city park and took over local neighborhoods.
“Oh, this is a mess,” one officer says in a body-cam video obtained by the Daily Mail. “Who knew we’re goat wranglers now?”
“They’re kind of cute,” another officer says.
The escapees were part of a group of 450 to 500 goats that had been brought in a week earlier as a cost-saving and eco-friendly way to help clear underbrush in Arlington’s Crystal Canyon Natural Area. However, the invaders ended up going through people’s yards as part of their exploration.
They were wrangled about 30 minutes after escaping and were reunited with the rest of their herd.
