Just because you can’t ride in style doesn’t mean you can’t eat in style.
Only in New York City can a subway rider be seen enjoying a lobster dinner with all of his fellow riders looking on in envy.
One of the other passengers captured the man, who utilized several seats to spread out his meal, while using his hands to pry open the lobster shells, ignoring the other passengers, according to the New York Post.
Apparently the subway is a popular place to enjoy a fancy lobster dinner. WABC-TV reports that back in 2018 a woman celebrated her 26th birthday with a lobster dinner, a bottle of wine and a piñata.
In 2022 and 2023, passengers stopped a train to offer Thanksgiving dinners to hungry riders, according to the Post.
