In the early morning hours of December 7, 2023, an adult in custody was found deceased. With the support of the Oregon State Police (OSP), Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, The Dalles City Police and the Medical Examiner, an investigation, as to the cause of death, is currently underway. Additional details will be released when they become available.
