However, tragedy struck when Valentina’s cherished companion was accidentally left on the Tokyo-bound plane, according to Good Morning America. The distraught family launched a search effort, involving the airline and social media appeals. The call for help was answered by James Danen, an American Airlines pilot, who collaborated with Turkish Airlines’ lost-and-found in Tokyo to track down Beatrice.
With Valentina’s joy in mind, Danen carried the doll across airports worldwide and finally handed it to her in person.
