Liquid courage leads to $600,000 Ferrari rampage

Meet Micael Martinez, the audacious mastermind of the “Ferrari Fiasco” in Salt Lake City.

In a booze-infused moment of genius, he broke into a Ferrari dealership using a rock and stumbled upon the keys inside a car worth a cool $600,000, per a police affidavit, according to KSI. Ready for a cinematic exit, he engaged in a chaotic car dance, smashing into four unfortunate vehicles causing an estimated $100,000 in damage.

Utah Highway Patrol caught him casually walking away from the vehicle near an Interstate exit. When apprehended, he brushed off his escapade as a spontaneous decision fueled by an all-day drinking spree.

Martinez was arrested on of three counts of property damage, theft and burglary.
