The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the hunt for an individual who stole an ambulance on Feb. 25.
An unknown man got behind the wheel of the ambulance around 1 a.m. before it was found over an hour later abandoned in a parking lot, as reported by the Augusta Chronicle. The vehicle was towed and taken to have it assessed for damages.
It’s unknown how the ambulance was stolen and suspect names have not been released.
