Looking to volunteer? We are hoping to find a few community members willing to spend a couple of hours helping Klickitat County Search and Rescue train our K9s.
Jovi (Toller, far left) and Gloria (Malinois, center), adopted from Hood River Adopt-A-Dog last July, are getting ready to take their certification tests and need new people to find.
The job consists of sitting in one of our gorge scenic areas being “lost.” We train every Friday afternoon and are looking to get in extra trainings over the next month and can work with your schedule.
