Now, in addition to dropping off coats at NCPHD, at 419 E. 7th St., donors can bring clean, new or gently used adult coats (no children’s coats please) to La Michoacana, at 1210 Kelly Ave., and Grocery Outlet, at 1300 W. 6th St. All locations are in The Dalles.
The coats are being given to Mid-Columbia Community Action Council. We are also asking for donations of new clean adult socks.
NCPHD appreciates the generosity of the community and has already taken a number of donations to MCCAC.
The coat drive will conclude Jan. 31. NCPHD is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed from noon to 1 p.m. each day. La Michoacana is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Grocery Outlet is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. 7 days a week.
