DA Mike Schmidt announces two brothers arraigned for Murder in the Second Degree, other charges

PORTLAND, Oregon – Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced that on Wednesday, November 30, Keyshawn Pervish, 21, was arraigned on four charges including Murder in the Second Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a stolen vehicle. K. Pervish’s brother, Omarian Pervish, 25, was arraigned on the same charges with the addition of Unlawful Use of a Weapon on November 23.

In May of 2021, K. Pervish, O. Pervish, and associates were allegedly in possession of a stolen Audi sedan and driving in the area of Northeast 143rd Avenue and Northeast Milton Street. The victim, 17 at the time, was driving the vehicle. O. Pervish allegedly shot the victim. K. Pervish then allegedly struck him with the Audi after possessing the driver’s seat. The Audi also struck another vehicle in the area where the victim was found, which caused small parts including the emblem of the Audi to dislodge, which led investigators to identify the make of the vehicle. The brothers then fled the scene in the Audi. The victim passed away in the middle of the road and was found by Portland police officers in response to a 9-11 call early the following morning.

A charging document is only an accusation of a crime. K. Pervish and O. Pervish are innocent unless and until proven guilty.
