(The Dalles, Oregon) November 17, 2022 – The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Starlight Parade with Community Tree Lighting on November 25th, 2022.
The Dalles Chamber is excited to present the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace 33rd Annual Starlight Parade “Country Christmas” and Community Tree Lighting event on November 25th, 2022. The Starlight Parade will begin at 6:00 pm and the Community Tree Lighting will immediately follow at The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce. We will be providing cookies, coffee, hot cocoa, and popcorn as we celebrate our community and the beginning of the holiday season with some holiday fun.
Following the Community Tree Lighting head out for some local holiday shopping for Shop Small Season. Downtown The Dalles is encouraging the downtown businesses to stay open late to accommodate your holiday shopping. The Dalles Workshop, StudioFit, Per Diem Thrifts, Klindt’s Books, Route 30 Burgers, Bottles and Brews, Herbal Rival Apothecary, Gorge Wine Library, Smoke Wring BBQ, Noori Beauty, Freebridge Brewing, House of A La Mode, Wines on Second, Emma’s Bowtique, Lines of Design, Terra Cotta Gorga Co., Sunshine Mill Winery and The Dalles Athletic Club at Wines on Second have all committed to staying open until 8:00 pm. Before you head out shopping, drop your kiddos off at The Dalles Civic for the Downtown Family Night presented by The Dalles Main Street, The Dalles Civic, and Manion Studios. They will be playing The Grinch, offering family sleigh rides, and will host a Christmas Card making station, letters to Santa station, and a cookie decorating station. Denae Manion of Manion Studios will be offering a special Paint Night where you can paint your own Snowman Ornament!
