Olivia Wilde in the spotlight with ‘Don’t Worry Darling’

Everyone wanted to make Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling.” And this was long before Harry Styles was involved. The ambitious psychological thriller set in an experimental post-War community in the Southern California desert stars Florence Pugh and Styles as a seemingly picture-perfect couple. Wilde’s film has been under an intense spotlight from the beginning, but Wilde, in an interview with The Associated Press, says she doesn’t care what gets people in the theater as long as they go. “Don’t Worry Darling” will have a glamorous debut at the Venice International Film Festival on Sept. 5 before opening in theaters nationwide on Sept. 23.
