The Feds have scored another gigantic cocaine haul, but they’re not patting themselves on the back just yet.
WFLA reports that dozens of cocaine bricks washed up on the beaches of the Florida Keys and no one has any idea where they came from. Police credit two good Samaritans for seeing a mysterious package washed up on the shore near a line of condominiums.
Police opened the box and found another box inside. That box had a bunch of small packages on the inside. Those packages were tightly wrapped in black tape, which must have been super suspicious because police had them tested.
The report came back positive for cocaine, and police say they recovered 126 ponds of the white stuff, which has a street value of $2 million.
