SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A proposed set of conduct and discipline standards applicable to all law enforcement agencies in Oregon have been published. Under the proposed rules, now available for public comment, only unjustified or excessive use of deadly force that results in a serious injury or death would result in an officer’s immediate termination.
