People are actually clothes-shaming the “Emmanuel, don’t do it!” girl

A famous farmer girl had the best response to people demanding she wear more feminine clothes.

If you’re on TikTok, you’ve probably fallen in love with the viral “Emmanuel, don’t do it!” girl, Taylor Blake. She’s a farmer on Knuckle Bump Farms and deals with a mischievous emu named Emmanuel, who crashes her informative videos to fight his reflection on her phone screen — thus causing her to yell, “Emmanuel, don’t do it!”

But, because Blake’s a farmer who works with chickens, cows, goats, pigs and more, she wears work appropriate attire. Well, some people think it’s inappropriate for a girl to be wearing mud boots, overalls and dirty clothes.

Blake shared a video to Twitter of one of the many comments from people telling her to dress better.  Highlighting the comment, “Do you ever wear regular clothes? Like a dress or a skirt?” Blake decides to maliciously comply with constant requests, saying, “I thought you’d never ask.”

Blasting Reba McEntire‘s “I’m a Survivor,” she puts on a green bridesmaid dress and then goes about her daily chores, such as scooping goat poop, fighting back angry swans, lugging bags of feed, and wiping grime and dirt on the delicate fabric. There’s even a moment where she is hugging Emmanuel as a deer tries eating her dress.

“With all of the Emmanuel content going crazy, I thought y’all might also enjoy this gem,” she wrote in the caption.

She also followed up with the tweet, “VERY excited to announce that nobody recognizes me when I’m not wearing my overalls.”
