Kindergartner brings tequila to snack time

They say sharing is caring. However, in this case, maybe not so much.

Some Michigan parents are upset after receiving an alert that their kindergartners shared a bottle of tequila during snack time last week.

One of the students shared a bottle of Jose Cuervo mix with 10% alcohol content with four other classmates before a teacher stopped it.

One of the parents, Alexis Smith, told ABC affiliate WDIV she got a call from her daughter’s school, Grand River Academy, on Thursday morning notifying her of the incident. Smith said the school couldn’t give a definite answer on how much of the drink was consumed.

School officials said they have addressed the situation but can’t share the details because of student privacy laws.
