Open Burning with the City Limits of The Dalles will begin on April 1, 2022 at daylight.
Burn permits are required and will be available starting Wednesday, March 30th, however, burning will not start until Friday, April 1, 2022.
Permits are $5.00 are can be obtained by visiting www.mcfr.org/burn-permits 24/7 or you can visit the main fire station, 1400 W 8th Street during regular business hours, M-F 8:00 to 5:00.
City burning is limited to small yard debris piles. Burn barrels are not allowed within city limits by city ordinance.
The last day to burn within the city is May 14 for the spring burn period.
