North Central Public Health District is now offering all three COVID-19 vaccines for free, to everyone ages 5 and up, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
The vaccines will be offered on those days from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 541- 506-2600 to make an appointment. If you have insurance, NCPHD will bill it for the cost of administering the vaccine, but you will not have to pay anything. You can get the vaccine for free even if you don’t have insurance.
Vaccines are the best protection against serious illness or death from COVID. Vaccine effectiveness wanes over time, and boosters are strongly encouraged as an important layer of protection, particularly for those 65 and older.
Same-day vaccine appointments for a free vaccine are also available at local pharmacies. Book online at:
- Safeway: https://www.safeway.com/pharmacy/covid-19.html
- Fred Meyer: https://www.fredmeyer.com/rx/covid-vaccine
- Walgreen’s: https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/vaccination/covid/19/landing?ban=imz_imzhub_scheduler_fy22

- Wednesday 9 a.m. to noon
- Thursday 1:20 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
