Those Dodge Chargers, huh? A Connecticut woman claims she “did not realize” she was speeding down the highway at nearly twice the posted speed limit.
Stamford Daily Voice reports LaToya Huff, of Connecticut, was busted in New Hampshire for cranking down the highway at nearly 130 miles per hour. The 36-year-old woman was driving on the I-95, where the speed limit was set at 65 miles per hour.
You know you messed up when it’s not a cruiser doing radar that pings your speeding car, but an aircraft doing routine traffic surveillance. The police aircraft radioed in the 2017 Dodge Charger and authorities pulled over the vehicle, which they report was going 127 miles per hour. They wrote in the police report, “She did not realize that she was going that fast.”
Huff was charged with reckless operation and is due back in court on April 21.
