Vancouver Fire was dispatched to the report of a house fire at 6102 NE 113th Ct. in Vancouver, WA. Engine 8 was the first crew on scene and arrived within 5 minutes. E8 took command of the scene and spoke with the residents to make sure everyone was out of the house and safe. Four other units arrived at almost the same time and extinguished the fire 8 minutes after the first engine arrived. Crews searched the structure to verify everyone was out. Then several companies worked to remove the smoke and helped to save personal items. A total of seven Vancouver Fire units responded to the scene with a total of 20 Firefighters. Clark County Fire Marshal 19A5 responded to the scene to investigate.
