(NOTE LANGUAGE) Kreation Organic, a juice chain in California, has a staff shortage, which might explain a sarcastic job advertisement at one of its outlets
The laminated poster, displayed in the store window, said the business was “still looking for that special person” who is “actually available, has an open schedule, doesn’t cry, is never late, has no excuses, works hard, has no bull****, smiles no matter what.”
However, after a photo of the sign was posted on Twitter and garnered more than 35,000 likes, the establishment removed the sign, and the company issued a lengthy apology on its Twitter page.
“We absolutely agree that the wording on the signage was way too harsh,” the company wrote. It said the advert — made by its human-resources hiring manager — hadn’t gone through its “normal approval process for marketing materials.”
“Please give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t familiar enough with our ‘Kreation language’ yet,” it added.
The QR code on the poster linked to the job-openings page on Kreation’s website, which showed 22 open positions.
