Hood River Officers Receive Award

From the Hood River Police Department Facebook Page:

In the summer of 2020 Sgt. Juan Pulido and Officer Gabe Wilson responded to a call of a fight in downtown Hood River. While looking for individuals involved in the fight, they located a male who was bleeding profusely from a severed artery sustained from a broken window. Officers quickly used their Department issued tourniquets to stop the massive bleeding. Their quick actions saved the young mans arm and his life. Tonight, Sgt. Pulido and Officer Wilson were recognized by the Oregon Peace Officers Association with the Life Saving Award. The HRPD takes pride in serving all our citizens and visitors in our great community. Job well done Officers.
