Newsflash: Police don’t care if you’re TikTok famous… unless if you’re going 100mph

Here’s some advice about being pulled over… don’t brag about how many people follow you on TikTok because that will not get you out of a speeding ticket.

British publication Daily Mail reports that 18-year-old Damaury Mikula — of Florida — was arrested on Friday after running a red light at a busy intersection, doing a burnout as he did so to intentionally tick off the police officer who was waiting at the red light and then engaging thePasco County Police in a high-speed chase that hit 100mph.  This all happened around 10:30 in the morning.

Police eventually caught up with Mikula, who was driving a Dodge Challenger, at his home and proceeded to arrest him.  While being read his Miranda rights, the teenager began bragging about his four million TikTok followers and the $450,000 salary he gets from the video-sharing site.

Police, clearly, didn’t care and hauled him off to the Pasco County Jail, where he was booked and charged with reckless driving, racing on a highway and evading police.

He was released on bond.  It should be noted that his car was also towed.
