HOUSTON (AP) — Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker appreciates his star players. At this time of the year, he’s also a big fan of his role players. Baker likens his bench players to a third-down running back in football or a sixth man in basketball. Pinch-hitter Marwin Gonzalez helped the Astros stave off elimination in the World Series. Game 6 is Tuesday night in Houston. Both teams traveled on the day off, instead of flying from Atlanta after the Astros won 9-5 in a Game 5 that finished early Monday morning.
