The Braves erased deficits of 2-0 and 4-2 before Freddie Freeman launched a home run with two out in the eighth to give Atlanta a 5-4 triumph over Milwaukee. Jose Altuve (al-TOO’-vay) belted a three-run homer, scored four times and stole a base as the Astros eliminated the White Sox in Game 4 of the Division Series, 10-1.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers forced a Game 5 in their NL Division Series by getting two-run homers from Mookie Betts and Will Smith in a 7-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. Six LA pitchers combined on a seven-hitter and blanked the Giants until the fifth inning. Walker Buehler was reached for three hits over 4 1/3 innings and left with a 4-0 lead.
