2 men in stolen car killed in crash in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Police say two men have died in a multi-car crash in Tacoma after a stolen car they were inside ran a red light and was hit by another vehicle, resulting in a multi-car crash. The News Tribune reports the victims haven’t been publicly identified. Police say they were traveling south on South Hosmer Street around 8 p.m. Thursday in a stolen Honda Civic when they allegedly ran a red light. Police say another car heading north clipped the Honda, causing it to spin and hit two other vehicles. Both men in the Honda died at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Police say the car was stolen Aug. 5 in Lakewood.
