Seahawks camp focuses on Adams’ contract, Waldron’s offense

The Seattle Seahawks begin training camp as reigning NFC West champs but with major questions about the future. At the forefront is the contract situation with safety Jamal Adams and whether a long-term deal can get done before Adams begins the final year of his current agreement. Second to Adams is how the system of new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron will mesh with quarterback Russell Wilson. There was enough discontent in the offseason that there was talk of a separation between Wilson and the Seahawks. If Wilson doesn’t connect well with Waldron and Seattle struggles, that talk about Wilsons’ future with the Seahawks will only grow louder.
