British rock band Coldplay are headed out of this world with a new cosmic-themed album called “Music of The Spheres,” scheduled to drop on Oct. 15. The band, fronted by singer Chris Martin, announced their ninth studio album with a handwritten note and a list of tracks, including some songs that are represented by emojis. In other music news, multiple Grammy winner Alison Krauss is being lauded as the best in bluegrass. Krauss will be inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in September, in recognition of her career as one of the genre’s most acclaimed and widely known stars. And the long-running benefit concert Farm Aid is back live this year with headliners Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp.
