Sadly, we are reporting a 29th Wasco County resident has died of COVID-19. The person tested positive on
April 13 and died May 21.
We extend our deepest sympathies to their family and all who have lost loved ones to this pandemic.
Vaccinations are now widely available and are the key to ending the pandemic. Local pharmacies offer the
vaccine, and a mobile vaccine unit at St. Mary’s Academy parking lot, 1112 W. 10th St., is offering free vaccine
tomorrow, Monday, and then Tuesdays through Sundays, from noon to 6 p.m. each day.
