| Effective immediately, adults in Klickitat County can schedule their COVID-19 vaccines online through the Klickitat County Health Department website. These appointments are only for the Moderna vaccine which requires two vaccinations approximately one month apart. You must be eighteen years or older to receive the Moderna vaccine. Residents 12-18 years old can schedule appointments for the Pfizer vaccine at Skyline Health, Northshore Medical or Klickitat Valley Health. Appointments for the Moderna vaccine may be scheduled for Tuesday mornings at the Goldendale Health Department and Thursday mornings at the White Salmon Health Department. To schedule an appointment: Go to: https://www.klickitatcounty.org/1187/Klickitat-County-Coronavirus-ResponseScroll down and click on “Click Here to Schedule.” Read the Moderna Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and “Click to Proceed with Screen” Fill in your information. Once your information is complete, you will be able to choose from available times and days for your appointment in either White Salmon or Goldendale. Residents without internet or computer access can still make appointments over the phone by calling the Health Department at 509-773-4565 or 509-493-1558. Vaccination is the best defense against COVID-19, which is still very active in Klickitat County. Almost 600,000 Americans have died of this virus.
